Liebherr LKPv 1423 is a purpose-built Medicine and Vaccine Storage Fridge that meets the Quality Care Pharmacy Program (QCPP) Compliant Dispensary Refrigerators requirements and the National Vaccine Storage Guidelines ‘Strive for 5’.
Liebherr LKPv 1423 Large Capacity Medicine and Vaccine Fridge is a premium purpose-built vaccine fridge to store vaccines, medicines, high-value samples and temperature-sensitive therapeutic goods.
The Vaccine Fridges are engineered in Germany with high-quality materials and equipped with advanced functionality such as precise temperature control and consistency, integrated alarm system, physical and built-in keypad locks, and built-in 72 hours backup battery, ensuring safe and secure storage of your valuable samples, reagents and vaccines.
The Liebherr LKPv 1423 has world-class temperature stability, like all Liebherr MediLine Biomedical Fridges and Freezers do. They are tested at state-of-the-art Liebherr Biomedical Development Facilities according to Procedure EN 60068-3, which involves measuring temperatures at nine different points in the interior.
Liebherr is environmentally friendly and promotes sustainability, having minimal greenhouse effect and no potential for ozone depletion using only R290 & R600a Refrigerants which also offers outstanding energy efficiency.
Precise Temperature Control
Energy consumption and operating costs are significantly reduced as Liebherr uses only premium-quality compressors, condensers, evaporators and other components.
The Liebherr Biomedical Freezer comfort electronic controller lets users set temperatures to 1/10°C accuracy using the membrane keypad and digital display.
The integrated data logger stores minimum and maximum temperature events and the last three alarm events.
Advanced Alarm System
Audible and Visual Alarms alert users of temperature breaches, power failure and when the door is ajar for more than 1 minute. The fridges are also equipped with a volt-free alarm contact for alarm forwarding to remote monitoring systems.
The built-in alarm test function can check whether an internally or externally connected alarm system is functioning correctly without affecting the refrigeration performance.
QCPP Compliant
Liebherr LKPv 1423 is a QCPP Compliant Vaccine Refrigerator and is consistent under the National Vaccine Storage Guidelines ‘Strive for 5’ (PDF Download).
The Vaccine Storage Guidelines ‘Strive for 5’ provides information and advice for vaccine storage management for Australian immunisation service providers, from medical practices to large hospitals, clinics and outreach providers.
Temperature Consistency
A highly efficient forced-air cooling system and compressor ensure temperature uniformity and fast temperature recovery after openings.
The temperature stability is tested in state-of-the-art facilities according to EN 60068-3, which involves measuring temperatures at nine different points in the interior.
Innovative Design Technology
The LKPv 1423 Vaccine Fridge features an upward-hinged, detachable unit compartment cover seamlessly integrated into the aesthetics of the fridge, which can be easily accessed for cleaning and servicing without having the move the appliance.
The fridge also features SwingLine Doors which are ergonomically designed, easy to clean, and easy to open, thanks to the full-length integrated grip handle.
Peace Of Mind
In the event of a power failure, the electronic controller of the fridge has a 72-Hour Battery Backup to monitor the internal temperature.
The fridge also has a physical lock to protect against unauthorised access and a keypad lock to prevent temperature and alarm setting changes without a passcode.
LED Interior Lighting
Our Laboratory Fridges with glass doors feature LED Lighting, which evenly illuminates the entire interior so that stored products can be easily seen and quickly accessed. This lighting can be switched off if required.
