MIR Spirobank 2 Advanced Spirometer with Oximetry Option
The MIR Spirobank 2 Advanced turbine spirometer and oximeter can be used as either a stand-alone or connected device which serves as a portable minilab for respiratory specialists. The Spirobank 2 Advanced can be connected via PC to WinspiroPRO® high performance software through an integrated USB port or via a Bluetooth® 2.1 wireless connection.
MIR technology is created by a Red Dot Award winning Italian-based design team. MIR is responsible for a range of advanced and internationally recognised spirometry solutions which have been designed and manufactured for use by medical practitioners and researchers for over twenty years.
Zone Medical currently supplies seven spirometry models: the MIR Minispir 2, MIR Spirolab 4 Desktop, MIR Spirobank 2 Basic, MIR Spirobank 2 Smart, MIR Spirodoc, MIR Smart One Personal Peak Flow Meter and the MIR Spirobank 2 Advanced. This highly specialised portable model boasts advanced test interpretation with over eighty spirometry and (optional) oximetry parameters when connected to a PC.
MIR Spirobank 2 Advanced can operate both in stand-alone mode, and connected to PC via Bluetooth® 2.1 or USB.
Who is it for?
The MIR Spirobank II Advanced spirometer is particularly valuable to pulmonologists, respiratory therapists and researchers. In both stand alone and connected mode the plethora of available tests allows specialists to gather extremely accurate and highly specific short- and long-term data. The Spirobank 2 all-in-one spirometer (with/without oximeter) stores up to 10,000 searchable results at any one time and transmits this data to the PC via USB or Bluetooth® 2.1.
The MIR Spirobank 2 Advanced spirometer complies with the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) for two items: #11505 and #11506. These recently created or amended items encourage the use of well-performed spirometry in general practice.
The MIR Spirobank 2 Advanced spirometer with optional oximeter is very simple to implement and features adult virtual assistant incentives and paediatric incentive animations with adjustable difficulty levels. On-screen animations engage the younger patient and encourage correct technique, producing accurate results in a notoriously difficult-to-measure group while non-paediatric incentives increase compliance and result accuracy. This model’s ability to simultaneously carry out multiple tests reduces patient consultation time and airway test repetition.
