Mortuary fridges and freezers are specialized refrigeration units used in funeral homes, hospitals, and morgues to store deceased bodies. These units are designed to maintain a consistent temperature and protect the remains from deterioration.

There are 2 main types of mortuary fridges and freezers available.

Mortuary refrigerators: These units are used to store deceased bodies at temperatures between 0°C to 4°C. They are available in different sizes and configurations to accommodate a range of body sizes.

Mortuary freezers: These units are used to store deceased bodies at temperatures below 0°C. They are available in different sizes and configurations to accommodate a range of body sizes.

There is a choice of both Mortuary Fridges and Freezers in single, double and triple bay options and the additional option of having Standard or Bariatric sizes for these models.

Standard and Bariatric Mortuary Lifters may also be a requirement in conjunction with your Mortuary Fridge or Freezer.
