Instructions from the User Manual:
The verification cup is used to confirm whether the machine is functioning properly. Before using the cup, wipe its inner wall with a soft cloth, as any dust on the surface can affect the measurement results.
How to Use the Verification Cup:
- At room temperature, slowly fill the verification cup along its wall with sodium chloride injection (0.9%). Allow the cup to stand for a few minutes until all bubbles have dissipated.
- Hold the probe vertically and carefully place it into the verification cup, ensuring the probe remains steady and does not tilt.
- Select the male icon on the device by touching the patient type key, then press the scan button on the probe or the scan button on the touchscreen to initiate the measurement.
- Repeat the measurement at least three times. If the deviation between each measurement is minimal and consistent, this confirms that the machine is functioning normally.
